Yungas of Samaipata

We have not visited this site, but from Samaipata we have heard it is only a two hour drive to an area of moist yungas of Amboro National Park. We have also heard that there is a lodge there for the public. We have been told the birding is good at this site. If this interests you, we suggest asking people involved in tourism in Samaipata. There are a couple of guides who live in the town who could conduct a guided tour of this area. For reservations check with Bird Bolivia agency (birdbolivia@unete.com.bo).
